Is the HP/Palm Pre 3 Next?

Following on from the rush for the £89.00 Touchpads is the news that the HP/Palm Pre 3 phone will be the next device from HP to be slashed in price.  No official news from HP as yet but if these do appear on any websites you can bet they will sell very quickly.

The Rush for the HP Touchpad

Last Monday (22nd August) at 6pm Hewlet Packard announced they were liquidating the stock of the Hewlet Packard Touchpad and had asked retailers to reduce the price from around £300.00 to £89.00 for the 16GB version and down to £115.00 for the 32GB. There was a massive surge of traffic all online retailers website while people scrambled to purchase them at this reduced price. And by mid-night ever where was sold out. However there are rumours that there may be some more entering the UK on the 5th and/or 11th September. Our advise would be to monitor the internet around these dates for conformation. You may also be wondering what the HP Touchpad is. The Touchpad was to have been HP's rival for the Apple iPad running the WebOS operating system that came with the purchase of Plam, the Touchpad was only launched in July 2011 in the UK so had only been on sale for two months. The device had received mixed reviews and was going to be reviewed by ourselves. However if you can find one for £89.00 it does offer exceedingly good value.
